On July 18th, 2009, at about 8pm, I was lying in a pile of sheepskin and woven blankets, wearing three pairs of socks, three pairs of pants, four sweaters, a down jacket, a scarf, mittens, and a fuzzy knitted alpaca wool hat. Amidst all of these layers, I was moaning, "I aaam sooooo CCCOOOOLLLLLLLDDDDDD!"

"Do you know why you're cold?" said my friend Viki, who was lying in the bed next to me, and who had been patiently listening to me complain for the last half hour.
"Because it's cccccoooollllllddddd!" I shivered back.
"No. It's because we live in a climate controlled environment."

  I'm guilty... That right I admit it! But can you blame me? My bank roles in the red, I'm unemployed(traditionally speaking) and for less then four bucks I can have a three-course meal! The latest value menu I explored was that of Arby's. Curly fries, ham and cheddar melt, chicken sandwich, and a chocolate milkshake all for $4.26. What?!? I know, I know, In order for them to sell me food at prices like that they are supporting factory style farming and unsustainable water consumption and government subsidized feed lots and antibiotic pumped livestock, but it satisfies my hunger!

A final Hola from South America. Its been a while since I have posted and I have been lazy. Since last I posted, I have traveled down the coast of Chile, over and down to the bottom of Argentina, and up the Atlantic coast to Buenos Aires where I sit now. Along the way I have experienced some magnificent natural resources, new cultures, and fun experiences.
