Farm Fest, on May 23, to help pay Prigel legal fees
Farm Fest 2009, to support the Bobby Prigel family and raise money for legal fees as the family fights for its right to operate a creamery, will be held May 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Prigel farm, 4851 Long Green Road.
Farm Fest features live music, food donated by area farmers and activities for children. Last year's event attracted about 500 people and it raised $30,000, noted the organizers, the nonprofit group Friends of Farming.
