 This is one of the best books I’ve stumbled upon lately.  Author Joanna Yarrow, a leading consultant and expert on sustainability, gives us 1,001 ways, real ways, to save our planet.

 We see it every day.  Whether we're hiking, driving to work, walking in our neighborhood or on vacation at the beach, we see litter.

I would like to thank  Byron Banghart for allowing me to use this space on the site and Anna Martin for teaching me and my elementary grade computer literacy level how to use the site.        Oh poor chipmunk, the road was your end. Or should I say "The bike trail was your end." Indeed it is true. While taking my leisurely bike ride to work yesterday I noticed the unfortunate accident. I asked myself, How?! How could it be? How, on such a beautiful, peaceful trail could anyone manage to run over and kill a chipmunk? The answer hit me in the form of rushing wind as three uniformly clad, hot-pink wearing men on bikes sped past me in the opposite direction.
