Some pictures and video from Muir Woods in Mill Valley California. Named after the famous naturalist and founder of the Sierra Club, The Muir Woods National Monument sits just north of San Fransisco. The forest is visited by thousands of people each year who travel from afar to witness the majesty of the Sequoia. Towering 300 ft, the Sequoias or commonly called Redwoods, create a natural cathedral where a true reverence of nature can be felt.
